Manchester Mega Mela is a free, family-friendly festival open to people of all cultures and backgrounds. There's no charge to walk in and enjoy the music, dance, food and atmosphere — paid extras like the funfair are entirely optional.

Is entry really free?

Yes — general admission to Manchester Mega Mela is free for everyone, both days. There's no charge to enter and enjoy the stages, stalls and arts & crafts.

Do I need a ticket to get in?

No ticket is required for general entry — you can simply turn up. A free ticket helps us plan for numbers, but it's optional.

Are the funfair and add-ons extra?

Yes. Funfair rides and any VIP or hospitality options are paid separately and are completely optional.

Are children welcome?

Absolutely. The Mela is a family event enjoyed by people of all ages, with plenty of activities for children.
